- 2004, February – Group performs at opening of Mpumalanga legislator.
- 2004, May – Group represents Mpumalanga at SA Tourism Indaba and give several performances.
- 2004, June – 2010 Soccer World Cup Celebrations.
- 2004, July – Winners of Provincial cultural dance and music competition.
- 2004, August – Group selected by Provincial Government to represent SA in Slovakia at the World Gold Panning Championships.
- 2004, August – Group perform in Vienna for Friends of SA.
- 2004, September – Group performs at Mpumalanga Arts Festival.
- 2004, September – Group performs at MACUFE Arts Festival in Mangaung, SA.
- 2004, November – Matsamo Cultural Park announced as the overall winner (emerging) of the FEDHASA Imvelo Responsible Tourism Award for 2004.
- 2005, February – Group performs at the launch of the Mpumalanga Language Committee which launch was hosted at Matsamo.
- 2005, February – Group performs at the opening of Mpumalanga Legislator.
- 2005, August – Matsamo participates in the World Folklore Festival of Brazil, sponsored by the NAC
- 2005, Matsamo identified by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) as a model cultural centre.
- 2005, September - performs at World Gold Panning Championships, Pilgrims Rest
- 2005, September – Matsamo announced as provincial emerging tourism entrepreneur of the year.(ETEYA)
- 2005, September – Matsamo selected as the best Swazi cultural dance Group by the Mpumalanga Community Arts & Culture Association (MCACA).
- 2005, November – participates in Zindala Zombili National Dance & Music Festival as Mpumalanga Provincial winner at the Royal Bafokeng Sport Palace.
- 2005, November – Main performer at the World Congress of CIOFF in Tshwane.
- 2006, February – Matsamo performs at the Gwaza Mthini historic celebrations in Mozambique as the only foreign official invitee of the Mozambican Government.
- 2006, February – Matsamo receives an official invitation as one of 20 international folk music & dance groups to perform at the 49th Confolens Cultural Music and Dance Festival, the most prestigious folk music & dance festival in Europe affiliated to the “Conseil International des Organisations de Festivals de Folklore et d’Arts Tradtionnels”, ( CIOFF) in formal relation with UNESCO.
- 2006, February – Matsamo receives official invitations to perform at the “Wereld Dansfees, Op Roakeldais” in the Netherlands, the biggest international festival of the “Internationale Organisation Fur Volkskunst (IOV) an NGO in operational relations with UNESCO.
- 2006, February –10 further international invitations to perform in Europe in 2006
- 2006 August –Matsamo Participate in the World Folklore Festival in Brazil
- 2006 Sept – Matsamo performs at the Boudeogi Festival in Andeong city in Korea
- 2006 November – Matsamo participate in the Indian Ocean Festival in Reunion
- 2007 April – The group performed in the opening and closing ceremony at the World Congress for Rural Woman in Business at the international Convention Centre in Kwazulu Natal
- In 2007 June-Sept – Matsamo performed in 5 European countries (Slovenia, Croatia, Germany, Netherlands and France) in different folklore Festivals, The highlight of this tour was that the group performed in the 50th anniversary of the Festival Confolens in France, and the most highlight was the trophy and a Silver Medal that the group brought home after winning the best Cultural group in the World in the International Dijon Folklore Festival in France.
- 2008 May- group performed the Boundless Song at the launch of the Boundless Southern Africa, Transfrontier Conservation Areas (TFCA), at the Tourism Indaba 2008.
- 2008 June- the group performed at three international Folklore Festivals: In Warffum, Brunssum, (The Netherlands) and Schoten, (Belguim).
- 2008 October- the group represented South Africa at the international Vendee Globe Challenge in France
- 2008 October- the group performed the Boundless song at the Boundless Investor Conference organised by the Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism, South Africa (DEAT) in Sandton.
- 2009 February- the group performed at the Commemoration of the Matola Raid, in Maputo, Mozambique.
- 2009 March – SAB Awarded Matsamo certificate for Woman In Business Certificate
- 2009 May – Matsamo Winner of the American Express AA Awards in the Category for Best Cultural Experience in South Africa .
- 2009 November – Matsamo attends the Zindala Zombili Pan African Festival in Pretoria State Theatre.
- 2010 May – Matsamo Winner American Express Accommodation Awards in the Category Best Cultural Experience in South Africa .
