Children Policy
- Children are very welcome at Matsamo and we consider them as very special guests.
- Rates for children sharing with full paying guests are subject to suitable accommodation and a maximum of two children sharing a room with two full paying guests and 3 children with 1 full paying guest. This applies only to accommodation in ensuite rooms.
- 2 Years and younger: Stay free of charge in a cot.
- 3 - 5 Years: Stay free on a mattress in the room.
- 6 - 12 Years: Sharing with 1 or 2 adults pay the rates provided for in the pricelist and an extra mattress on the floor will be provided.
Children occupying their own room will pay the full adult rate for 1 child and children's rates for the remaining children subject to a maximum of 4 people per room.
- For day visits and other activities at Matsamo children under 6 years accompanied by parents do not pay and children under 12 years pay half price.
- Under no circumstances may children under the age of 6 remain unaccompanied by a guardian and should the guardian wish to participate in activities without the child then the guardian will be responsible to hire a baby sitter which will be made available by Matsamo for the period applicable.
- Babysitters can be arranged at a minimum rate of R30-00 per hour which is to be paid directly to the babysitter. Babysitters are to be booked on or before arrival.
